About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist (HCPC) and Accredited CBT therapist (BABCP). I currently offer online psychological therapy to adults over the age of 18.
I am able to work with individuals with a broad spectrum of psychological issues including anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. Outside of private practice, I work in a National NHS Pain Management Service. My work emphasises a holistic approach to well-being, recognising the interconnectedness of mental and physical health. I have specialisms in health psychology, including chronic pain, women’s health, long-term health conditions, and difficulties with sexual function. However, my expertise is not limited to these areas, as I am equipped to work across a variety of presentations that may affect your life.
How I work
Whether you're exploring therapy for the first time, seeking to address new challenges, or revisiting unresolved issues, I will support you on the journey to personal growth.
I offer a supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Through therapy, we will work together to uncover the patterns that hold you back, allowing you to gain insight and foster meaningful change. My approach is rooted in a commitment to understanding your individual needs, which is bolstered by extensive training in multiple therapeutic techniques designed to help you feel empowered and unburdened.
Therapy is a journey without quick fixes, requiring time, patience, and dedication. I am here to guide and support you through this transformative process, helping you to improve your life and achieve your personal goals.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I offer a free 15 minute consultation telephone/video call so that we can figure out if we are a good fit for each other. There is no obligation to proceed, and you can take your time to decide if you wish you book a first assessment with me, or choose to go elsewhere.
At assessment I will get to you know you and what has brought you to therapy. I will explore the things that are getting in the way of you living a meaningful life and think about how I can support you. Therapy may involve a short-term piece of work on a specific problem, or it could involve longer-term sessions to explore and unpick factors that might be holding you back. We will decide at assessment what approach suits your individual needs best.
