About me

Life can throw up many challenges, it can be overwhelming or a struggle at times. You may feel like you are lost, an imposter a fraud, not feeling good enough, stuck or just treading water.

I'm an experienced person centred counsellor who has helped give insight and understanding to her clients. During our sessions together you will gain a better understanding of yourself. Understand any unhealthy or negative life patterns.

I will provide you with a safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment. Enabling you to identify any concerns or issues you maybe experiencing whether present or past. During our time together I will help you to gain a greater awareness of you, your inner strength to set healthy boundaries and be where you want to be in life.

I have counselled both teenagers and adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, family issues, childless, abuse, impending divorce, divorce, extramarital affairs, grief, loss, bereavement, menopause, stress, social isolation, low self-esteem, self-confidence, workplace bullying, relationship issues/breakdown, self-harm, stress, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME) to list a few.

I work with adults 18+

I offer face to face or Google Meet. Short or long term counselling and welcome your enquires.

Our initial session will be charged £25.00. An assessment will be carried out to see if we both feel we can work together. After this we will start our counselling journey together. My normal charge of £45.00 will apply thereafter our first session.

I offer face to face sessions; if you are unable to attend a face to face session I offer Google Meet.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
