About me

There can be no doubt that life throws things at us which can be very challenging and difficult to cope with.  This can leave us feeling anxious, panicky, low in mood or perhaps just feeling sad.

Sometimes the messages that we may have received as a child/young person can have an impact on us in the here and now.  When we are triggered, we may respond or behave in ways which we don't make sense to us.

Perhaps you are ready to make changes in your life and you are looking to find ways of doing this.

Working together, you and I can explore the impact of the past and look at the ways our thoughts and behaviours reflect this today.  We can unpack this and find alternative ways of coping.

I am an experienced counsellor, who has worked in the health sector for over 15 years. I am experienced in working with both men and women of all ages and find that I am able to create a safe space for them. I use an individualised approach that is warm, non-judgemental, empathic and unique to you. This gives you the opportunity to explore the things in life that are troubling you and gives you the space to make changes and grow.

Special Areas of Interest

I have a particular interest in working with Anxiety, Depression and Trauma/Abuse. I am also experienced in working with Panic Attacks, Bereavement and Social Anxiety.

Location

I am based in the central belt of Scotland and have rooms in Stirling and Linlithgow.  All are located in the centre of town and are convenient for transport links.

I am PVG checked and abide by the NCPS Code of Ethics.
