About me

I am a registered psychotherapist with over 25 years’ experience supporting clients (individuals, couples & groups) in a variety of therapeutic settings as a therapist and supervisor. Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked as a State Registered Nurse, and this background continues to shape my holistic and compassionate approach.

I work in an integrative way, with Transactional Analysis (TA) as my core training. Alongside this, I draw on a wide range of valuable complementary approaches, allowing me to tailor our work together to suit your individual needs.

Feel free to call me Jay, my nickname that I am most known by. If you’re here, something in your life may not feel right. You might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—caught in patterns you can’t seem to shift. Maybe your relationships are strained, or you’ve lost a sense of who you are.

You don’t have to figure this out on your own.

At the heart of my practice is a commitment to offering a safe, supportive, calm, confidential space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what’s going on—whether we meet in person or on Zoom. Together, we can gently explore what’s beneath the surface of the situation you are finding yourself in, helping you understand yourself more deeply and find a way forward that feels right for you.

Your work with me will not be about being judged or fixed. It’s about helping you reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with a way of living that feels more grounded and fulfilling no matter how difficult your life may feel for you right now.

As we work together, you may begin to:

  • Feel less anxious and more at ease
  • Feel less overwhelmed and more in control
  • Understand and shift patterns that have been holding you back
  • Improve your relationships
  • Experience more clarity, choice, and emotional balance

Whether you come as an individual or as part of a couple, our work will be shaped around you, your needs and presenting issues.

If something in you is ready for things to change, this could be the place to begin. Therapy offers you the space to take focussed time for you, understand what’s really going on, and begin to change things—gently and at your own pace.
