About me
I work with adults, young people, teenagers and children age 6+. Whether it is yourself or your child who needs support please get in touch for an informal chat.
I believe my clients know themselves and are the expert on their own life. I will work with whatever you feel you need to bring to therapy. I will offer you a safe place without judgement and with respect. I will give you the space to explore your feelings and will respect you for who you are while believing in your potential to grow.
Counselling can help with many issues you may be facing. Anxiety, low mood, depression, bereavement, abuse, family issues, marital problems or past trauma are some examples of problems you can explore through counselling. I have considerable experience working with clients from the LGBT+ community. I have significant experience working with self- harm in teenagers and also working with young people who are neuro-diverse and their families.
I am based in North-East England but I can work with anyone in the UK online via video link (or telephone). I offer Face to Face counselling in Gosforth. I also offer Walk and Talk therapy in and around Cramlington and the Seaton Valley. This gives an option for face to face counselling while providing an opportunity for gentle exercise.
You can call me, email me or message via my Facebook page or website. I aim to reply to every enquiry within 24 hours. I am currently accepting clients.
I am a member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society and adhere to their code of ethics. I have an enhanced DBS and am listed on the NCPS CYPT (Children and Young People's Register).
I am also available as a Clinical Supervisor. Please get in touch for an informal chat.
