About me
I am a qualified Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. I work with adults, couples, young people, teenagers and children age 6+. Whether it is yourself, you & your partner or your child who needs support please get in touch for an informal chat. I offer a supportive space to explore the past, understand the present and shape your future. You can expect a warm welcome, a listening ear (without judgement) and a safe space to tell your story.
Some issues I work with include (but are not limited to) anxiety (general/health/social), low mood/depression, relationship issues (couples counselling) anger, phobias & self-harm (in teenagers and young adults).
I have completed extra training and have a special interest in working with adults, young people and children who are Neurodivergent. This includes Autism (ASD), ADHD and Dyspraxia. I also have experience working with clients from the LGBTQ+ community.
I am committed and passionate in my work guiding people through the struggles they may be facing and the impact this is having on their day to day life.
I work UK wide with my clients via video link (or telephone). I offer Face to Face counselling in Gosforth (Newcastle Upon Tyne) and in North Shields. You can contact me using the links for contact above. Alternatively you can telephone me or send a message via my website. I aim to reply to every enquiry within 24 hours. I am currently accepting clients.
I am a member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society and adhere to their code of ethics. I have an enhanced DBS and am listed on the NCPS Adult and CYPT (Children and Young People's Therapist Accredited Register).
