About me

Our earliest relationships influence our experiences in life creating 'normal' experiences, expectations and patterns of relating. These often manifest as repetitive thoughts, feelings or behaviours which can be both positive and negative. If negative and misunderstood or left unexplored, these patterns can feel limiting and oppress our capacity to feel fully alive in our Self and in our relationships. Exploring our thoughts, feelings and behavioural patterns with another person, in therapy, can help us understand and integrate our experiences and reconnect with and expand our authentic Self.

I work with an empathic approach offering a non-judgemental, safe space for us to explore your current or ongoing concerns. Working together we will help you find a way forward to achieve the changes you might wish to make. I believe everybody has the capacity to achieve desired change and deserves to be treated equally and fairly. I believe in the healing power of authentic relationships and I work with a relational approach where our relationship is at the heart of our work. Often the difficulties experienced 'out there' in the world can become manifest 'in here' in the therapy room, presenting an opportunity for exploration of these difficulties with an empathic, non-judgemental other.

I work in-person and online with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, coming from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, different genders and ages. I provide a non-judgmental, confidential and safe space within which we will work together. I have specific interest in working with oppressed, marginalised and alienated individuals and groups.
