About me
Hello, I'm Jack Williamson, a compassionate and dedicated individual, group, and couples therapist. My experience and passion lies in helping individuals & couples navigate life's challenges to explore and work through their issues, whilst also empowering them to find fulfillment & discover their true potential. In my practice, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences freely.
Whether you are navigating issues related to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family issues, interpersonal or identity issues, I am here to support you as we process and work through what brings you to therapy in a safe and supportive way. If you would like to book an initial session, feel free to send me an email or call me.
Training, qualifications & experience
Throughout my career as a psychotherapist, coach, NLP practitioner, couples therapist and group facilitator, I've worked in private practice, helping both individuals & couples from various backgrounds & walks of life. I specialise in supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, identity issues, and life issues. Additionally, I have experience working on relationship issues, communication breakdown, and intimacy issues.
I am the clinical lead providing therapeutic support to staff and artists at Warner Music and I have partnered with artists to launch pioneering mental health initiatives including Lewis Capaldi (Live Live) and Yungblud (Show Support).
Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Embarking on your therapeutic journey can be a daunting process, and so I will be here to co-create a safe and non-judgmental environment that enables you to explore and unpack the issues that you are looking to work through.
I believe in taking an integrative approach and bringing different therapeutic styles to support your unique needs. From a psycho-dynamic approach to understanding how your past is impacting your present, to attachment theory and how your formative years are impacting your interpersonal relationships, all the way through to transactional analysis to understand which state you may fall into when engaging with others.
I understand that starting or resuming therapy can often feel overwhelming or anxiety-inducing, and I am here to answer any questions or alleviate any concerns you may have. I look forward to hearing from you via email or phone and exploring how we can work together.
