About me
Hello, I’m Holli, a qualified counsellor offering person-centred therapy, trauma therapy, and clinical hypnotherapy in person and online.
Life challenges, mental health struggles, or trauma affect us all at some point - whether you are going through it now or it happened in the past, counselling can help.
Perhaps things have been locked away in a box but now it feels like the time to finally deal with it. Or maybe you feel alone, misunderstood, unimportant or you just don’t feel yourself and want to feel differently or want something to change.
Counselling offers a safe space to explore experiences and feelings, helping you feel seen, heard, and valued. Through self-exploration, you can get to understand yourself better, gain clarity, overcome barriers and make meaningful changes to live the life you want and deserve. I know from personal experience how healing and life-changing counselling can be.
What to expect from counselling with me: I’m warm, genuine, and pride myself on the trusting relationships I build with clients. Together, we’ll explore you, what has brought you to counselling and any struggles you are experiencing. Understanding yourself better can boost self-compassion and confidence, empowering you to take control and create positive change in your life.
I offer a welcoming, safe, environment where you can be yourself, feel accepted and start your journey of self-discovery and growth.
Getting started: It can be overwhelming trying to decide on the right type of therapy and finding the right counsellor. However, the relationship with your counsellor is the most important factor for a positive experience.
I offer a free 20-minute initial call to help you decide if I’m the right fit for you. This is your chance to ask questions, discuss what's brining you to counselling and what you would like to gain from counselling. Click the ‘book intro call’ button on counselling directory or text/whatsapp to arrange.
Please note I do not answer telephone calls.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
