About me

Child Psychotherapy, Child Counselling, Adult Therapy, Parent work and Parent and Child work.

I use play and the creative arts, including sand tray, as well as talking therapy to work with 4-18’s, parents and adults. I work closely with parents of younger children, if appropriate, including regular reviews. I work with any presenting issue or condition but have extensive experience of working with anxiety and anger.

I work via phone or online via googlemeets (with over 14's).

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m a U.K.C.P. (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) accredited Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist (M.A.). My training covers adult psychotherapy and I am registered with B.A.C.P. (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) to practice. I have 10 years’ experience, including 6 years working with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service clients, and additional training in working with Trauma. I have 19 years' experience of personal and spiritual development work with adults, teenagers, young children and families.

I offer talking psychotherapy, creative arts therapy, anxiety management and Mindfulness strategies, parent work, parent and child work and inner child work.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
