About me

Therapy for You

Thank you for considering your therapy journey with me. I understand that life's struggles can often bring difficult and painful emotions to the surface, and seeking support can feel like a big risk. I offer warm, open and empathic space, that provides a sense of safety and containment as we explore what has brought you here. Therapy can be a proactive step to finding a positive and healthy way forward.

As a humanistic integrative therapist, I believe that a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is essential for effective therapy. I am a warm, empathic, and considerate therapist, providing a confidential and professional service. Therapy is your space to feel safe, supported and to bring whatever issues you would like, to be worked through at a pace that is right for you and your unique needs. I believe you deserve the therapeutic time with me to feel valued, fully heard and supported. I will journey with you to better health, in order to be at peace with your struggles, with added life fulfilment and clarity.

High Quality Therapy

I offer concessionary therapy spaces to enable therapy to be more accessible, despite being a highly qualified, effective and experienced therapist. Standard sessions last 50 minutes and are offered on an open ended basis. I welcome short term and long term clients, adapting to suit your needs. Sessions are charged at £55 and I hold a number of concessionary spaces for clients with low income, OAP's, students, trainee counsellors and those who find themselves unemployed.

I offer my affordable therapy sessions in line with my personal values, limiting restrictions by promoting increased access to high quality therapy.

I currently have two space available for sessions for individuals who find themselves experiencing the concessionary needs above, this is charged at £45 per session.

I currently have some sessions available on Thursday's and Friday's. All sessions currently offered online, with a view to offer in-person sessions in the New Year.

Next Steps

If you would like to find out further information or to book an initial therapy session, please feel free to contact me via phone call or e-mail. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.  With an understanding of how difficult it can be to reach out, I offer a free 20 minute phone call conversation for you to feel empowered in your choice, with no pressure to commit. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
