About me
Life's struggles can often bring difficult and painful emotions to the surface, and if there has been difficulty in our childhood (such as trauma or divergence) we may find that we do not have the skills to deal with, process, or even understand these big feelings. How we cope with our feelings can have a huge impact on how we show up and respond to different situations, relationships and work, having a further impact on our relationship to ourselves and our mental wellbeing.
As a humanistic integrative therapist, I believe that a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is essential for effective therapy. I work with a relational and developmental lens, this allows me to develop a full picture of your world view and beliefs. In order for therapy to be effective, I feel it is essential to commit to weekly sessions. Therapy is your space to feel safe, supported and to bring whatever you would like to explore, to be worked through at a pace that is right for you and your unique needs.
Therapy can be a proactive step to finding a positive and healthy way forward. It is an under-utilised resource which can be such a useful tool to help move through the many different and often difficult situations life brings. I offer a confidential and non-judgemental, safe space, that provides a sense of containment and stability as we explore what has brought you here.
I have been working with a variety of clients for five years, and I have gained a lot of my experience while working in a specialist sexual violence service. I have special interest and / or specific additional trainings in the following areas: childhood, relational and sexual trauma, BDSM, kink and alternative sex culture, ADHD and neurodiversity, and managing personality disorders (particularly EUPD). Although I prefer long term work, I do offer short or long term therapy sessions dependent on your individual needs and aims for therapy.
Standard sessions are 50 minutes and are charged at £55. I do offer concessionary spaces for clients with low income, OAP's, students, trainee counsellors and those who find themselves unemployed.
Thank you for considering your therapy journey with me. If you would like to find out further information or to book an initial therapy session, please feel free to contact me via e-mail. I offer a free 20 minute phone call conversation for you to ask any questions you may have and to feel empowered in your choice of therapist, with no pressure to commit. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
