About me

Are you seeking guidance, support, and empowerment to navigate life's challenges and achieve your goals? With over 30 years of experience working with adults and children, I am dedicated to helping you overcome obstacles, unlock your potential, and thrive in every aspect of your life.

As a qualified psychotherapist and coach, I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly and authentically. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, or simply seeking personal growth and fulfilment, I am here to support you every step of the way.

In addition to my extensive experience in psychotherapy and coaching, I have served as the director of various charities, where I worked closely with individuals who have experienced significant trauma. This includes refugees from war zones, women, and children who have faced adversity and hardship. My work in these roles has provided me with invaluable insights and deep empathy, allowing me to offer specialised support to those who have experienced trauma and adversity.

My approach is holistic and integrative, drawing from various therapeutic modalities and coaching techniques tailored to your unique needs and preferences. Together, we will collaborate to identify your strengths, clarify your values, set meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies to overcome obstacles and create positive change in your life.

Through our work together, you will gain valuable insights, learn effective coping skills, and cultivate resilience to navigate life's ups and downs with confidence and resilience. My ultimate goal is to empower you to live a more fulfilling, balanced, and authentic life aligned with your truest self.

Take the first step towards transformation and schedule a consultation today. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to self-discovery, growth, and healing.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
