About me

Hello, I'm Donna, and I'm here to offer you support and guidance on your journey toward healing and inner growth.
With over ten years of experience working with trauma, I've had the privilege of helping individuals like you overcome life's challenges and rediscover joy and fulfilment.

As a committed therapist, I specialise in offering tailored support that acknowledges the diverse intricacies of the human brain.

My expertise encompasses a wide range of challenges, including childhood trauma, stress management, anxiety, navigating life transitions, coping with grief, and addressing various forms of addiction, including sex, drug, and alcohol dependency.

I also provide guidance in navigating co-dependency dynamics and fostering healthy emotional regulation.
With a compassionate and holistic approach, I am dedicated to helping individuals achieve greater self-awareness, resilience, and inner peace.
I bring a blend of compassion and expertise to our sessions. Using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis (TA), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Person-Centered techniques, I tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs and goals.

Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, body image issues, or low self-esteem, drug alcohol/addiction or grief.

I'm here to walk alongside you every step of the way. Together, we'll explore your experiences, unearth your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you thrive in all areas of your life.

Through counselling, you'll find a safe space to share your thoughts and feelings, receive unconditional support and discover the resources you need to overcome obstacles and create lasting positive change.

So if you're ready to take the next step towards a happier, healthier life, I invite you to reach out. Whether you prefer online sessions or face-to-face meetings, I'm here to help you overcome difficulties and continue growing and enjoying life.

Let's embark on this journey together. Your healing starts here.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
