About me
I am a qualified Psychotherapist and a MNCS Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
I am an integrative counsellor for adults and children. Modalities that I use are CBT, Psychodynamic and Person-Centred.
I am a loyal, dedicated & empathic person and consider myself fortunate to be able to share my client's experiences with them.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Level 5 professional diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling which complements my Level 4 Counselling Diploma. I have recently completed a CBT Diploma to enhance my skills further.
I partake regularly in CPD which provides me with further skills to enhance my practice.
I recently trained as a trauma-informed practitioner covering subjects in; child abuse, trauma and the body (dissociation & somatization), working with dissociative disorders in clinical practice and working with shame and trauma-informed practice.
I have over 2 years of counselling experience which has been delivered
face to face, online and via the telephone.
I currently work with both adults and children. My work also sees me forming strong relationships with local schools where I provide 1:1 therapeutic sessions for children and adolescents.
