About us

Cura psychology is run by Lichfield clinical psychologist Dr Louise Earley and is Lichfield’s most established independent psychology service. Cura is made up of a very highly skilled select group of clinical psychologists and therapists who work with both adults, children and families. We have specialisms in trauma, EMDR, attachment based therapies such as DDP and theraplay, CBT, ACT and music and creative therapies. We understand that finding the right therapist is important and research tells us that the most important factor in good therapy outcomes is the relationship! As clin psychologists we have spent a minimum of 6 years studying psychology and undergone rigorous supervised practise in a range of therapeutic models and client groups which means we can tailor our work specifically to you and your families needs. No two clients are the same and are interventions are unique to you and guided by NICE guidance and best evidence.  This means you can trust us to find the best approach to suit you. As we have clinicians who work with both adults, children and families we can offer a unique service.

We have two beautiful therapy rooms, in the City Centre with a waiting area and admin support with Debra our wonderful PA. This ensures you a smooth, warm and caring journey from the point of enquiry through to successful discharge. Do get in touch with me for a conversation about how we can help you and/or your family. We look forward to hearing from you!

Dr Louise Earley holds a Doctorate in clinical psychology (2001) and has been qualified for over 20 years. She has extensive experience in both NHS and private spheres.
