About me
Sometimes in life we need someone to listen without judgement and to help us in finding clarity and direction. I work with adults, children, adolescents and young adults in a way that suits their needs and helps them to make sense of their world and what is going on for them. I use a number of therapeutic approaches included person-centred talking therapy, creative therapies, therapeutic play with elements of other therapies such as CBT.
I will provide a non judgemental environment in which you move through your issues or difficulties at this time at your pace. I work with a number of relational issues as well as depression, anxiety, neurodiversity, parenting, trauma amongst many others.
I use therapeutic play, creative therapy and talking therapy to help children and adolescents with a wide range of issues including trauma, relational issues, parental separation, anxiety and emotional based school avoidance. I also work with young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, work place issues, relational issues amongst many others. I am a neuro affirming therapist meaning that I work with neurodiverse clients and have particular interest and experience in this area.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified counsellor with BACP membership. I have worked with adults and children in the counselling field with an array of issues providing person-centred counselling with elements of other modalities. Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
