About me
In 2020 I changed careers, following my desire to understand how best to help those struggling with self or situation. I found my path in person-centred counselling. Working with individuals, at their pace, offering acceptance and safety while you work through what troubles you.
I work with all ages and a wide range of issues. Especially experienced in neurodivergence, anxiety, depression and abuse. I work face to face, online or by phone.
Before finding my counselling path I spent 15 years in nature engagement and education, some of which was based on supporting mental health and well-being through conservation work.
As part of my practice, influenced by my experience in nature connection, I offer therapy in nature, base in the Cairngorm National Park as a face to face option.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained in person-centred counselling and psychotherapy, then continued on to child and youth counselling at Strathclyde University.
I work online, by phone or in person to support clients with a wide range of issues and concerns.
My student placement took me to Lochaber Hope which led to my current role as their Child and Youth Counsellor.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
