AnnaMaria Williams (MBACP)
Hello, I work in East Grinstead offering counselling services to individuals and couples. I work with adults and with young people from the age of 11 years.
I also offer psychosexual therapy and anger management sessions.
I will work together with you on whatever you would like to talk about - it may be you would like to talk through a particular issue you're experiencing at the moment to find some clarity and understanding, or perhaps you feel you need some additional support at a difficult time. We can discuss at an initial appointment whether counselling might be helpful to you right now. I offer a confidential and non-judgemental space to share, explore, reflect and come to understand what’s happening for you at this time in your life.
I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, stress, self-harm, abuse, self-esteem, low confidence.
I have both personal and professional experience of working with autism.
I offer short term anger management counselling, usually 6 to 8 sessions, looking at the impact your anger is having on your life, triggers, behaviours and ways to understand and manage it differently.
I also work with sex and relationship difficulties, communication problems, sexual dysfunction, low desire, issues around gender identity and sexuality, sex addiction, among others.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and a general member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.
If you would like to talk further, please contact me to arrange an initial appointment.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
