About me

COVID-19

To support you during these challenging times I am offering both 1hr & 30 min sessions, online or by phone to help you with your emotional & mental wellbeing. Keeping mentally & emotionally healthy is vital at this time of isolation.

It’s important that right now we keep healthy physically, mentally and emotionally, so for those who may find standard therapy fees a barrier, I am offering concessionary rates of £50 per hour and £25 per half hour.  I can offer the one off session, or regular sessions, depending on your needs. The most important thing is that you get the support you need.

This is a really hard time, with so much uncertainty, which at times can feel overwhelming. No matter what you’re feeling, we can find a way through this so that you can cope better. You will be met with a warm, caring approach, where i will really listen and understand you, helping you make sense of your feelings and thoughts, leading to greater self awareness and a more fulfilled life.

Lets work together to support you right now.

A very warm welcome to you!

Would you like to:

Change unhelpful thought patterns
Transform stress and anxiety
Learn skillful communication that creates lasting connections
Find peace and clarity in areas of challenge

                                         Mindful counselling that changes lives.

One 2 one

We’ll talk through what is bothering you, and identify a pathway through in a safe and supportive way.

Develop new ways of thinking

Together we will understand what you are feeling and why, create tools for change, gaining more choices and freedom in your life.

Working together

Research has shown that the most important quality to therapy is the quality of relationship between client and therapist. By gently exploring your present experience we can gain a greater awareness of who you are and what you need. Through this supportive relationship, habitual ways you may experience yourself can be gradually explored. This process leads to a greater freedom and range of possibilities in your life and in you relationships.

Growth and change

All sessions will be rich with opportunities to grow and learn. You will build new muscles of understanding, thinking, seeing and being, in all areas of your life; all that is required is an openness to learn, and a commitment to the process.

Face to face, skype, and phone sessions

Weekly sessions allow you to be supported, they build momentum in the motivation to change, grow and heal, so that you may gain the changes you are longing for.

Safe and Confidential

Sessions are held in a relaxed and safe, private space in Harrogate. Understanding and trust are the foundations of our work together. All aspects of our journey will be held in the highest confidence.

Together we will help you achieve your goals and bring greater balance to your life

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
