About me
Hello and welcome – I’m glad you’re here.
There are times in life when things feel overwhelming, stuck or confusing. Whatever has brought you here, I offer you a warm, compassionate space where you can talk things through and feel truly heard – without pressure or judgment.
I’m a BACP-accredited, integrative counsellor with 20 years’ experience working with adults, couples, relationships, young people (11+) and groups. I also provide clinical supervision to trainee and qualified therapists. My background includes private practice, Relate (10 years), schools, charities and EAPs.
How I Work
You’re unique – and so is the way we’ll work together. I draw on a range of approaches (Person-Centred, TA, Systemic, Attachment theory) to support you in exploring what’s going on, what you need, and where you want to go.
Our sessions can be calm and reflective, focused and practical, or simply a place to say things out loud. We’ll go at your pace.
Clients come to me with issues like:
Anxiety, bereavement, depression, loss, stress, grief, low mood.
Relationship difficulties or family conflict,
Self-esteem, people pleasing, identity questions
Trauma, feeling stuck, life transitions - to name just a few
Specialist Areas
Couples/Relationship counselling – I offer a structured format including joint and individual sessions to support communication, understanding and positive change. I work with all relationships – including parent and adult child, adult siblings, workmates, mixed neurotype, same-sex, and non-traditional dynamics.
Adults - our sessions can be: Explorative – if you need to be heard;
Reflective – if you’re processing emotions or patterns; Focused – if you’re seeking practical strategies, clarity or decisions.
Whether you're managing anxiety, navigating grief or stuck in relationship dynamics, I’ll support you to uncover your own resilience, strengths and choices.
Young People (11+) – Sessions are gentle, choice-led and informal. I build trust first.
Neurodivergent clients – I'm ND-friendly with lived experience and training in this area.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
Relationship counselling doesn't depend on you being married, living together, same sex, opposite sex, transgender, cisgender or transsexual - if you are in any kind of relationship (including a friendship) that has problems - this service is for you.
Finally, consider this, counselling can often take weeks not months. It can be done in small or large stages - stop when it feels enough and resume when you feel ready - you are in charge!
I really hope to see you soon.
If you are looking for a supervisor, I supervise these: couple’s supervisor, relationship supervisor, adults’ supervisor, young people supervisor, Systemic supervisor, integrative supervisor, group supervisor, individuals’ supervisor, professionals’ supervisor, teachers’ supervisor, social worker supervision.
