About me
I offer EMDR alongside relational psychotherapy for adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, attachment difficulties and relationship-related distress. Short- or longer-term work available online or in Basingstoke or online.
I offer counselling for a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, providing a supportive and confidential space to talk things through at your own pace.
I specialise in relationship issues, working with both individuals and couples.
If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or caught in repeating patterns in your relationships, I offer a calm, thoughtful space to explore what’s happening and how things might change.
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist offering individual counselling, couple counselling, EMDR, and clinical supervision. I have 20 years’ experience across private practice, the NHS and agency settings. My approach is integrative and relational, grounded in Humanistic therapy and informed by Transactional Analysis, Reltionship therapy models, CBT-based approaches, mindfulness and EMDR. I work collaboratively and tailor therapy to your individual needs.
In couple counselling I work with all relationship types and identities. I provide a balanced, respectful environment where partners can explore communication difficulties, conflict, trust, intimacy and life transitions. When couples choose to continue beyond an initial meeting, I arrange separate individual assessment sessions before joint work begins, helping ensure the process is thoughtful and supportive for both partners.
I also offer EMDR, an evidence-based therapy originally developed for trauma and PTSD. EMDR can be used on its own or alongside talking therapy to help process distressing experiences that continue to affect emotional wellbeing and relationships.
For counselling trainees and qualified practitioners, I provide clinical supervision, supporting reflective practice, ethical working, and professional development.
I offer a low-cost introductory session to help us explore what brings you to therapy and whether we are a good fit. Sessions are available face-to-face and online. All work is confidential and in line with the BACP Code of Ethics.
If relationship difficulties—or other emotional concerns—are affecting your life, you’re welcome to get in touch.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
