About me

As a qualified Psychologist, Counsellor, and Integrative Psychotherapist, I am here to support you in navigating through feelings of anxiety, sadness, or depression. In our sessions, you will find a safe and accepting space to explore your emotions and work through challenging life events. Whether you need a place to grieve, process sudden changes, or uncover protective patterns, I am dedicated to helping you make meaningful changes and achieve inner harmony. Together, we will delve into your feelings and discover a path that resonates with you, potentially alleviating symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other emotional challenges. My collaborative approach empowers you to uncover your answers, while I provide guidance and support tailored to your unique needs. While my foundation lies in Person-Centered therapy, I also incorporate various therapeutic techniques such as Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Mindfulness, Movement, and Embodiment to best support your growth and self-discovery. Embarking on this journey of self-exploration can lead to personal growth and self-acceptance. It is a privilege to witness clients embrace their emotions and insights. If you are seeking a warm, compassionate, and professional space to explore your life, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Training, qualifications & experience

After spending years in the corporate world, I made a career transition to become a psychologist and psychotherapist. I completed my training at both UEL and Goldsmith universities. My professional experience includes working in the charity sector, where I primarily supported mothers facing various challenges such as abuse, motherhood, depression, anxiety, and birth trauma. Additionally, I have been providing psychotherapy services to clients in my private practice, addressing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, body dysmorphia, trauma, childhood trauma, perinatal loss, sexual abuse, stress, post-natal depression, career change, immigration, and more.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
