About me

As a therapist, it is my desire to come alongside, and work together with you through the reasons that have brought you here today. Perhaps, it’s a one-off event that has thrown you off course and you need the space to process it. Maybe you are aware that you are not quite living the life you want to, and your goal is to explore the behavioural patterns that may be contributing to this. Or perhaps, there’s no singular thing, it’s just that you’re doing life, and something just isn’t sitting right, 1+1 just isn’t quite equalling 2.

I believe that therapy should be as unique as you are, so as a qualified integrative therapist, I will work with you, adapting my approach, techniques and interventions to suit you and your needs. I offer face-to-face, online and telephone appointments.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and work with their professional guideline, ensuring a safe and ethical service for you as standard.

Searching for a therapist can be a bit daunting and it is important that you find one that you feel at ease with, in order to get the most out of therapy. For your convenience, I offer a free, no obligation, 20-minute introductory call for us to meet, to talk through your reasons for seeking therapy, and for you to see if you would like to work together. Please feel free to get in touch or find more information via my website.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
