Toni Morrison Kent and Gravesend counselling service
I am a BACP Registered Therapeutic Counsellor.
I have been supporting adults and young people since 2012 helping them to improve their relationships, guide them through anxiety and depression and offer support at times when it feels difficult to cope with life.
I offer a comfortable environment that is safe, quiet and calm, where you can gently begin to explore and piece together the areas of your life that trouble you. Through talking together in this way you will grow to know yourself and with the new awareness be able to move forward with greater strength and understanding.
I’m genuinely interested in what you have to say, and understand how hard it is to find that person you feel you can trust. I offer a caring supportive service, and I will listen to your concerns with compassion and patience.
Life at times may feel daunting and overwhelming, due to present or past difficulties and you don’t have to be alone on your life journey.
Life is full of transition and change; these experiences may impact on your relationship with self and others, this can challenge our thought process, behaviours and emotions leading to some of the following;
Separation & Divorce
Identity Issues and Transitions
Relationships and Family issues
Addiction & Dependency Issues
Terminal Illness and Support
Bullying & Cyber Bullying
Work Stress & Burn Out
Therapy gives you the space to gain clarity when life may feel overwhelming and confusing; it supports you in your confusion helping you to make sense of your thoughts and feelings and help you clarify and explore choices and options.
Depression and anxiety can hinder work prospects and put pressure on relationships; working together we can find strategies that will help bring a sense of increased pleasure, contentment and wellbeing to life; it can help you to understand your patterns and behaviours; empowering you to make changes and feel in greater control of your life. This leads to increased confidence and trusting your decision process.
Therapy offers a little stillness in a chaotic world offering the opportunity to reflect, heal, gain understanding of life patterns this understanding leads to personal change and growth. It increases motivation and gives a sense of well-being.
I understand that picking up the phone to make an appointment is hard, I will treat your call with respect and warmth and if I am not available I will call you back as soon as I am able to.
Please feel free to call or email me to see how I could be of help to you.
