About me
Every individual is unique and deserves a tailored therapeutic approach. While life’s challenges may feel overwhelming at times, they do not define who you are. The pressures of daily struggles can become burdensome, but it is important to recognize that you do not have to navigate them alone.
As a therapist, my role is to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions. Through this process, you can access your body's innate ability to heal and create meaningful change. I integrate a range of therapeutic modalities to support this journey, including Brainspotting—a highly effective approach for processing trauma in a safe and structured setting.
Therapy offers a space for open discussion about the difficulties impacting your daily life. However, in some cases, talking alone may not be sufficient. In such instances, I incorporate Brainspotting to target unresolved trauma, whether it stems from developmental experiences, abuse, or a significant life-altering event.
My personal experience with therapy has provided me with deep insight into the challenges of acknowledging and seeking help. I understand that taking the first step toward support can often be the most difficult part of the recovery process. With this in mind, I offer a professional, confidential, and compassionate space where you can feel safe to begin your journey.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a BA Hons degree in counselling and psychotherapy from Liverpool John Moore University.
I am also a phase 1 trained brainspotting therapist.
Membership: National Counselling Society / Accredited Professional Registrant
Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms. Brainspotting is a simultaneous form of diagnosis and treatment, enhanced with Biolateral sound, which is deep, direct, and powerful yet focused and containing. I work with both adults and young people in private practice and I am currently a school therapist working with high school pupils.
