About me

I am a Chartered and Clinical Psychologist for Newcastle Psychologist & Counselling specialising in working with people suffering from depression, anxiety (including difficulties with trauma, obsessions, worry and/or panic attacks), and sleep disorders (especially insomnia, night time waking, and nightmares).

In addition to these, I also routinely work with people suffering anger and relationship difficulties, and people suffering from stress.

My main therapeutic approaches include Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Systemic/Family Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and mindfulness based approaches.

I take privacy and confidentiality seriously, and aim to make our sessions as comfortable, client-centred, and as non-judgemental as possible, providing a safe space in which together we can overcome your difficulties.  I am fully GDPR compliant and provide a professional setting in our specialist clinic.

I offer evening, daytime and weekend sessions, with Skype/Facetime/Zoom sessions also available should you be unable to attend our clinics in Jesmond or Gosforth.
