About me
Do you feel out of balance? As if something is not quite right and you're not sure why? Or perhaps you already know what is going on for you and you would just like the space to be able to talk this through and find some new ways of coping? It's certainly not uncommon to feel this way and a safe therapeutic space could be what you need just now.
Whether you're facing problems in the here and now, or want to speak about patterns or learned behaviours from your childhood - we can work together to bring about positive change and learn coping mechanisms. Heightened self awareness can help move you towards a new way of being.
I work in an integrative style, utilising CBT tools where useful, in a person centred manner. I believe you are the expert on yourself and ensure my work is client lead. I can provide a safe space for you, free from judgement in which we will work at your pace, in a style that best suits you.
Even taking this first step to find a therapist can be a challenge in itself, thank you for considering me. I know how important a good relationship with your therapist is so please don't hesitate to contact me if you would like a brief introductory chat, you can also visit my website.
Special areas of interest
I have particular interest in working with Anxiety, Self esteem and Women's issues. I like to work in an holistic manner and I also run groups which combine Cold Water Therapy with group work.
Please see my website for more details.
Next Steps
If you are interested in working together I offer a free 15 minute consultation in order to see if we would be a good fit to work together. You can email me through my directory profile, or call or text the number listed.
Please note my working days are Monday-Thursday. I will get back to your inquiry as soon as I can.
What happens in the 15 minute consultation?
We will have a chat about what kinds of things you would like to discuss in the therapy space. I will explain about how I work and I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the process. If for any reason I feel I could not offer you the support you're looking for I will be clear about this and recommend another service or practitioner where possible.
I offer a limited number of in person slots in Leith, Edinburgh. Online and Telephone sessions available throughout the week.

I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist working with an integrative approach. Since qualifying, I have worked for Employee Assistance Programmes providing therapy, as well as setting up in private practice.
I have worked with victims of domestic abuse, and have a special interest in working with issues surrounding self esteem, anxiety and women's issues.
My aim
My aim is to create a space catered entirely to what works for you, using an integrative approach during sessions. I welcome feedback to ensure we're working in a way that best suits you. I will provide a safe space of empathy and non-judgement and I will also gently challenge you to ensure you're getting the most out of our time together.
