About me

My aim is to provide you with an opportunity to explore what is happening for you and how you would like things to be different. I would like you to have a space in which you can feel safe, allowing you to develop an understanding of yourself and the steps you need to make so you can live the life you want to.

I aim to help you to simplify complex situations so that they make sense to you. This can offer clarity so that I can support you to take practical steps to make changes.

I have a strong interest in the biopsychosocial approach, considering a variety of factors which lead to you being who you are.

I work with you in a collaborative way, as a partnership to help you overcome difficulties. You are the expert in you and what you are experiencing, I am highly trained in psychotherapy which can help you to deal with challenges you may be experiencing. In addition to this, I am a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, an Advanced Level Compassion Focussed Therapist, trained in Schema Therapy and a Mindfulness Teacher.

I understand that all people are unique, with individual sets of experiences, past and present. I work with you to tailor therapy to your needs.

CBT is an evidence based approach and I work to keep up to date with latest developments to inform our work together, delivering the highest level of therapy to you.

My goal for you, is that you are able to leave therapy, with the understanding, skills, insights and tools that you need to live the life that you want.
