About me

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and work with adolescents (16+) and adults with a variety of mental health difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, traumatic experiences and loss.

I am committed to helping individuals navigate the complexities of their lives and find new ways that allow more choice and wellbeing. I believe that every individual has the capacity for positive change and personal growth.

As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including the creative arts, to meet your unique needs in every session. The arts might be useful for exploring one's feelings when there are no words to express how we are at the moment.

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed a Masters in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy and a Professional Certificate in Counselling Using the Arts, both at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education in London. I've worked as a therapist in the NHS, private practice and the charity sector.

I am a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT).

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
