About me

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and work with children and adults that encounter mental health difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, traumatic experiences and loss.

I am committed to helping individuals navigate the complexities of their lives and find new ways that allow more choice and wellbeing. I believe that every individual has the capacity for positive change and personal growth.

As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including the creative arts, to meet your unique needs in every session. The arts increase our sense of well-being, enabling our playfulness and creativity. The arts might also be useful for exploring one's feelings when there are no words to express how we are at the moment.

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed a Masters in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy and a Professional Certificate in Counselling Using the Arts at IATE (Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education) in London. I've worked as a therapist in the NHS, private practice and the charity sector.

I am a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT).

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
