About me
My main counselling office space in Ayr Town Centre provides a nice, relaxing, quiet space for us to develop a trusting relationship that will become a safe space for you to begin to discover the source of your issues and ways we can bring understanding and acceptance to your experiences.
As our relationship develops we can start to work through what is troubling you together, at a pace that suits you. Having therapy is one of the best things you can do for yourself as not only will it help you to bring acceptance to issues that you have, it will bring about a knowledge of yourself you never had before.
I work with anyone aged 16 upwards, individuals, couples and I also offer clinical supervision. Click on the link which will direct you to my website for more information about me and how I work.
I also have a space to use in Airdrie town centre, I will be in Airdrie one Wednesday per month, and every second Friday.
I also do online and telephone counselling if you feel that would suit you better.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a psychotherapist, counsellor, supervisor and life coach.
I am also a reiki practitioner and qualified yoga instructor.
I have been studying meditation and breathwork for the past 2 years and hope to blend all these therapies and offer coaching to people to manage their wellness the way they want.
To achieve this I am also setting up partnerships with other practitioners to be able to achieve the wellness balance that people are looking for nowadays.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

A session lasts 50 mins for individual adults, age 16 and over.
Couples: £75 per 1 hour session.

I am offering clients old and new, access to online content that looks at meditation, breathwork techniques and yoga moves that can support people who may be impacted with their mental health, stress or even trauma.
I wish to offer clients not only psychotherapy but other ways that can provide clients the skills they need to cope better and support themselves better throughout their lives.
I believe if within the therapy room and without it, we can find the ways to support your mind, body and soul then we can live freer, happier, more peaceful and content lives.
