About me

Life can be confusing, scary and dark at times. Counselling is a way of shining a light and finding a way out of the darkness.

I am a trauma informed and neurodiverse affirming integrative counsellor. This means I draw on a variety of approaches and models to best facilitate and support you through your counselling journey, through the lens of trauma and neurodiversity.

I am an accredited and insured counsellor with over 5 years of working within the mental health sector in different capacities.

I am AuDHD (Autistic and ADHD) and understand the potential difficulties of finding a counsellor who has lived-experience of neurodiversity. As well as my lived experience I have undertaken various training in understanding and working with autism and ADHD in the counselling space.

I offer remote counselling via Whereby and also have a counselling room in the centre of Milton Keynes.

I have experience working with clients navigating the below:
Anxiety  (Generalised Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder)
Depression
Trauma
Domestic Violence
Sexual Violence
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
Disability
ADHD
Autism
Self Confidence/Self-Esteem

I work on the belief that you know yourself best, as you have lived in your body and brain for your entire life. I consider my place in our sessions as a facilitator and guide, for those times in which you feel stuck, or need somebody else to offer you some extra support and insight in your journey. My primary focus is creating a safe environment that you can relax into – knowing that your vulnerability will be held and respected with no judgement. I am not afraid of walking through the darkness with you, and I look forward to dancing in the light alongside you too!
