Ruth Alborough MBACP (Accred)
You will find I am friendly, attentive and take the time to make sure you are getting what you need. Therapy can help you to make sense of your difficulties and experiences and work out what changes you might want to make.
You might be having difficulties with your relationships at home or at work.
You might be struggling with your confidence or feel that others are better than you.
You might be feeling low or unhappy and want to know why.
You might have had difficult childhood experiences that are still haunting you.
You might have had traumatic or upsetting experiences that you cannot get past.
Whatever the problem therapy with me can help to lighten your load and make real, effective changes to your life.
I have 20 years experience as a counsellor, supervisor and trainer and am a BACP Accredited Counsellor, and an accredited EMDR therapist. I originally trained in Humanistic Counselling and now offer an Integrative Approach to individuals, adolescents and couples. This means I am willing to help you explore your past, present and future, whichever you feel will help. I will not expect you to talk about anything you don't want to, and we will agree together what the focus of our work will be and how many sessions you would like to have.
