  • >Supervisor Ruth Alborough MBACP (Accred)

I offer one-to-one and group supervision. I work within a Relational/Humaniistic stance and am experienced working with trainees and more experienced therapists. My aim is to provide a friendly, containing space for you to develop your confidence and clinical practice. I believe our best approach involves working together to try understand your clients, your relationship with them, and your self as a  therapist. I want your supervision sessions to feel supportive, safe, non-judgemental and encouraging. I will be clear about times I am using my authority and times I am offering my experience. My aim is to help you to grow as a therapist, rather than tell you how to practice. I have particular experience in working with adolescents, and working with trauma and PTSD across all ages.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.
