About me

My therapy practice is online via phone or video call. I have recently opened up availability on Mondays and currently have the following availability: 5pm or 6pm (weekly), 7pm or 8pm (bi-weekly).

I work integratively drawing from my training in a range of therapeutic modalities, including Person Centred and Gestalt talking therapieis as well as  Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). Working in this way ensures my approach with each of my clients is individual to their specifics needs and goals.

I specialise in working in a neurodivergent-affirming and trauma informed way. Due to this, I work supportively with a range of clients who identify as neurodivergent (particularly ADHD, AuHD, and/or dyslexia). I am particularly skilled at working with client who are neurodivergent and experience anxiety disorder/s.

As a therapist, I strive to create a warm, accepting and compassionate space for my clients. Working together, I can support you to understand how your past experiences shape your current patterns and help you to develop skills so you can work through difficulties to find a sense of peace and contentment.

I work in a way which aims to understand and nurture your strengths so they can support you to live a happier and more fulfilled life. When going through painful life events or periods of difficult mental health, our sessions can work to make you feel emotionally supported and heard in a non-judgemental space. My clients bring a wide range of issues to their therapy sessions, knowing that I will meet them with respect and understanding.

As a bi therapist, I am committed to creating inclusive and safe spaces for clients who identify as LGBTQ+. I am passionate about providing therapy that affirms people and communities who experience marginalisation because of any part of their identity. My therapy room is welcoming and open to all.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
