Polly Royle BA (Hons) MBACP
About me
Hello. Do you feel overwhelmed or anxious? Would you like to access counselling or just some listening and support right now. You may be feeling isolated and have no one else to talk to or be finding it difficult to share your problems with family and friends. I believe in creating a safe, warm and empathic space for you to talk. Therapy can help share difficult feelings and emotions in a confidential, safe, non-judgemental space. I offer online therapy, phone and face to face counselling.
I understand that sometimes life can be tough, full of problems and issues that we just can't cope with anymore and turning to family or friends for help just isn't an option.
It can feel a little frightening realising that you want or need to speak to a counsellor, so taking that first step can be an incredibly hard thing to do and I appreciate the effort it might have taken to get this far in looking for a counsellor.
I am a registered, fully qualified counsellor working both privately and for a large charitable organisation. I can offer you support and help in a confidential, quiet, calm space.
My aim is to work with and alongside you, creating an atmosphere where you feel relaxed and safe enough to begin to face your problems. Working together in this way, gives you the opportunity to understand your personal difficulties and to find ways to move forward.
Finally, I offer both long and short-term counselling to help with a wide range of issues such as trauma, loneliness, depression, anxiety, family issues, low self-esteem, stress and abuse. If you would like to give me a call to discuss your situation please give me a call. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
