About me
I am a warm, empathetic and experienced chartered psychologist who is passionate about providing the highest quality of care and treatment. I have gained 26 years' therapeutic experience of working in the NHS, the police service and education. I am an integrative practitioner and have received doctoral training in a variety of psychological models. These include: CBT, mindfulness, compassion focused therapy, personal-construct psychology, psychodynamic and systemic psychotherapy.
I provide evidence-based psychological therapy to adults via video conferencing. I also provide supervision to psychologists, counsellors and psychotherapists at various stages of their professional development.
My clinical interests and specialism
I have experience of working with a wide range of difficulties, such as anxiety (generalised anxiety disorder, social anxiety and health anxiety), depression, panic attacks, phobias, body dysmorphic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, perfectionism, depression and eating disorders.
I have a specialism in working with trauma (PTSD and complex trauma), particularly within 'blue-light services'. I have undertaken both doctoral and post-doctoral research in the area of trauma and resilience. I created a pioneering trauma resilience programme, which has been adopted by the police service.

My experience
In addition to my private practice, I have had over 20 years’ experience of working in and managing a variety of psychology and counselling services. These have included: as the Psychological Therapies and Research Manager in the police service, within the NHS secondary mental health service, CMHT and Employee Wellbeing Service and within a staff and student counselling service in a tertiary college. I have also worked as a senior lecturer on the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and course lead of the Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at University of South Wales

British Psychological Society
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

- £140 per 50 minute session for insurance and organisational funded individuals.
- £140 per 90 minute EMDR session
