About me

I am a person-centred psychotherapist offering 50-minute appointments. I am available in person in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, virtually or via telephone. I understand many people cannot attend during the work day; I have evening and weekend appointments available. Contact me to book an appointment.

My therapeutic approach blends person-centred therapy with mindfulness, offering a nurturing space to explore your inner world safely with compassion and authenticity.
Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or seeking deeper fulfilment, I am here to support you with warmth and empathy.

My career has taken me through diverse landscapes, from the corridors of the NHS to the heart of mental health charities, corporate environments, local government initiatives, and the wards of psychiatric hospitals.

Throughout my career, I've worked alongside individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds. From guiding young people through the tumultuous waves of adolescence to offering solace and support to the elderly navigating the complexities of later life, every encounter has enriched my understanding and deepened my commitment to fostering holistic well-being.

I hold a BACP-accredited MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a BPS-accredited BSc in Psychology and Counselling. I regularly train to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field, ensuring that I have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of everyone I work with.

I am deeply passionate about the transformative power of therapy and honoured to support individuals on their path to wellness. Whether you're navigating the complexities of mental health challenges, seeking support for personal growth, or exploring strategies to enhance your overall well-being, I am here to accompany you on your journey with warmth, understanding, and unwavering support.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
