About me
Are you looking for flexible support that is tailored to your needs and goals?
There are a variety of approaches to therapy, mine is an Integrative approach, which means I acknowledge each person I work with is different and so I integrate many different therapeutic models to give you the best support.
It can be difficult to talk freely about what we are thinking and feeling sometimes, but it’s important for our wellbeing that we feel heard and understood in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Finding that supportive space can be life changing - impacting everything from achieving your goals to the quality of your relationships and your overall wellbeing.
I aim to provide this space for you, so you can fulfil your potential and explore yourself, your experience in the world and what you need to grow and thrive.

Currently, I offer individual counselling for adults aged 18 or over and have availability online or face to face in the Basingstoke area, RG24
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified Counsellor and an a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have experience working with a range of difficulties, such as:
- Anxiety, depression, low mood or low self-esteem
- Bereavement, grief or loss
- Stress or burnout
- Exploring past experiences and trauma
- Relationships, such as family, friends or work
- Feeling disconnected or lost
I aim to do this whilst exploring your experiences in life to this point and how they have shaped you and how you relate to the world, so you can understand yourself and your needs more and take back control of your life.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Concessionary rates are available. I offer discounted rates on individual sessions for key or community workers (such as NHS, police or care workers) or for people experiencing financial difficulties - please enquire.
I also offer discounted rates for bulk bookings of 6 sessions.
