About me
I help people work on their relationships (with themselves and others) so they can live more authentically and confidently. This can look like self-reflection, focusing on attachment and relational patterns, addressing negative self-talk or resolving anxieties or trauma. I have experience supporting clients with grief and loss, relationships issues (communication or trust issues) and a extensive experience supporting clients navigating anxiety disorders (eg generalised anxiety, social anxiety and OCD).
Sessions with me look like delving into your inner world and exploring what drives and influences you unconsciously, whilst keeping in focus your needs and goals. I use evidence-based interventions to support clients from a range of models, from Attachment Models to Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. I believe that the experiences of our past impact our future, but with support and awareness we can create a space that gives us choice in shaping our future.
If you're finding yourself lost or confused; managing intense emotions or relationships; or you just need some support I can offer a safe and non-judgemental space where we can explore how you are feeling to help make sense of now.
Currently, I offer counselling for adults and couples online or face to face in Basingstoke and Reading or remotely. You can book a free 30 minute introductory call through my website https://www.time2talkcounselling.net/getintouch
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I blend elements of Psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy alongside personal and professional experience to support clients with a range of difficulties, such as:
- Anxiety and OCD
- Depression, low mood or low self-esteem
- Bereavement, grief or loss
- Stress or burnout
- Exploring past experiences and trauma
- Managing relationships and compulsive behaviour
- Moving through and making sense of intense emotion
I can also help couples work on their relationship, working together to find ways to move forward by exploring what already works well within your relationship, what each bring to the relationship (personal insights) and what is co-created in your unique relationship with one another.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
