About me

I am Tasha Rose, a qualified integrative therapist - this means I offer a range of therapies that can be tailored to your needs. My approach involves person centred counselling (the talking therapy), cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, solution focused, value focused, and much more. If you choose to work with me, we will work to find ways of coping for the here and now, whilst also addressing the root cause of your challenges so that you can find freedom and balance.

I have experience working with various demographic groups and presenting issues which range from men's and women's issues, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, OCD, self identity/identity crisis, resilience building, grief & losses, spirituality/religion, spiritual/religious crisis, and more...

I appreciate that looking for a therapist can be overwhelming, which is why I offer a free telephone consultation - here you can get a general sense if we're a good fit, and if you'd like to go ahead and book in that first session together. If I don't pick up, please leave a message with your name and number and I will get back to you within 24hrs via a call back or returned email.

I offer face-to-face sessions at a room in Halton Mill, as well as home visits, walk and talks in the park, or video call/telephone sessions.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Other areas of counselling I deal with

I am well versed in political issues that have affected us all as individuals and as a collective society. I offer a space which allows for us to be two humans together. No agendas other than opening up the space to healing, self-awareness and personal autonomy - no matter your political affiliation or positions. We are all individuals having a human experience and I am aware of the gap in which sometimes the therapy space might feel daunting for somebody who doesn't feel they can speak freely in today's world.
