About me

Welcome to trust therapy.

I am a Counselling Psychotherapist currently practicing in London and online, offering long term and short term therapy. In my practice I bring together my experiences of working with people at points of change, various types of crises and transitions. I value each person's uniqueness and respond in an individual way to your circumstances and needs.

When considering counselling or psychotherapy it can often feel daunting, all that is required is a willingness to explore and understand one's life. In therapy you will be able to explore any areas of your life or there may be particular areas of concern which you would like to focus on, such as anxiety, depressions, self esteem, relationship issues etc. Whatever the circumstances are I will aim to support you through your journey.

From my experience I have found that clients most value a comfortable and trusting relationship with their therapist and the feeling of being understood. You are welcome to meet with me for an initial assessment session to see if you feel comfortable working together, there is no further obligation. If you decide to continue, you may choose either short-term or open-ended therapy, this can be reviewed and you may change your mind at any time. Counselling and psychotherapy is a very personal experience, your comfort and well being is of utmost importance.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Masters Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling, as well as extensive training which compliments and enhances my therapeutic work. I am also trained to offer clinical supervision to fellow therapists; as a Clinical Supervisor I am able to share the knowledge and insight I have gained through years of therapeutic practice. I have experience of working for voluntary organisations as well as in private practice, seeing both adults and young people. Outside of trust therapy I am currently working as Clinical Lead for the Ashiana Network Counselling service. At Ashiana Network we aim to help women and girls at risk of domestic violence and abuse.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
