About me

If you are looking for a supportive, and down-to-earth counsellor, I may be right for you. I offer a warm and welcoming counselling service supporting individuals, couples and young people.

Do you find that life can be overwhelming and sometimes even exhausting? Are you having a hard time feeling good about who you are?  Would you like to create lasting, positive changes in your life and relationships?

There comes a time when we need some help from a qualified professional to cope with many of life’s challenges. Therapy is not just for when you are going through a serious crisis. It’s not unusual to want a little support on your journey toward healing and self-discovery and I’m here to guide you through any obstacles you may face.

I offer safe, compassionate counselling in an atmosphere that deepens understanding, promotes healing, and releases potential.

Unresolved emotional issues can stifle creativity, confidence, ambition, and our ability for good relationships. Trauma and loss can cause sadness, depression and pain that inhibit and block.  I see my role as helping you to explore  the roots of your  issues and through this understanding I can help you find  new ways of responding to life's challenges.

My work is influenced by empathy, authenticity, and commitment to clients. My supportive and collaborative approach is tailored to clients' unique experiences and values. Together, we'll identify and foster your personal strengths and develop coping resources that enable you to manage the demands of daily life and relationships.

In our sessions, I will provide a comfortable environment where we can explore what may be weighing you down. I can provide you with a safe setting to speak from your heart, figure out what things in your life you need to shift, and learn how to get the life you deserve. I can help to empower you and help you manage uncomfortable feelings. I am intuitive, and I can listen and really hear what clients say, but I also have the knowledge, and skills to enable clients to progress. If  you have goals that you would like to achieve, it's important to me that we both work collaboratively towards the outcomes.

Whether you're seeking therapy to address a specific concern or simply to engage in a personal exploration, the therapeutic process can help increase insight, decrease anxiety and painful emotions, identify healthier coping strategies, and deepen relationships.

My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply and cope better with change.  I have a gentle but effective approach, and I will not judge you no matter what your story is.  My clients' well-being is my number one priority, and I go above and beyond to help all my clients through all their obstacles.

Since finding the right therapist can be a challenging process, I encourage you to check out my website for additional information to help determine if I may be a good fit for your needs. I also offer a free introductory 15 minute phone consultation.
