About me

I offer relational, person-centred counselling for adults seeking support with the many kinds of emotional and relational challenges life can bring. Whether you’re coping with anxiety, depression/low mood, self-esteem issues, grief, life transitions, identity or relationship difficulties — I aim to create a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s troubling you, understand yourself more deeply, and begin to make change in ways that feel authentic and manageable.

Alongside my general counselling work, I am also training in psychosexual and relationship therapy, and I am now welcoming clients who wish to explore concerns relating to intimacy, desire, sexuality and relationships. While I complete this specialist training under supervision, I offer psychosexual sessions at a reduced rate of £60 per 50-minute session.

I warmly welcome people of all genders, sexualities and relationship structures — including LGBTQIA+ clients, those exploring or practising consensual non-monogamy, and anyone navigating kink, identity, or non-traditional relational needs.

What I can support you with (in general therapy and psychosexual work):

  • Anxiety, stress, low mood, self-worth or confidence struggles
Relationship and communication difficulties (with partners, family, friends)
  • Life transitions — e.g. changes in relationships, career, identity or personal growth
  • Exploring identity, gender, sexuality or neurodiversity in a safe, supportive space
  • Intimacy, sexual desire concerns, mismatched sexual needs or libido between partners
  • Sexual function concerns such as erection problems, pre mature or delayed ejaculation, vaginismus, or difficulties with orgasm
  • Challenges with sexual identity, orientation, non-traditional relationship structures, consent or boundaries
  • Past trauma, shame, body-image, or emotional difficulties affecting sexual wellbeing or intimacy
  • Building healthier intimacy, connection, communication, and emotional safety in relationships

I offer a free 15–20 minute introductory consultation (online or by phone), which gives us a chance to meet, explore what’s brought you to therapy, and decide together whether working together feels like a good fit.

Whether you’re seeking support for everyday difficulties, life changes, or deeper questions of intimacy, sexuality or identity around identity, or just navigating the ups and downs of life — I aim to provide a kind, thoughtful, and inclusive space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported.

Training, qualifications & experience

I work relationally, exploring the many connections that shape your life — from relationships with friends, family and partners, to your relationship with work, society and yourself. Together, we may begin to notice patterns in how you relate to the world around you, and explore whether these patterns continue to serve you or if they are something you’d like to gently challenge or change.

My work is also grounded in a person-centred approach, meaning sessions are led by your pace, your needs and your sense of what feels safe to explore. I pay close attention to the experience of being in the room together, creating a space where you can express yourself freely and feel understood without judgement.

I have previously worked as a mental health support worker within an LGBTQIA+ charity, supporting people individually and in groups around sexuality and wider emotional experiences. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I understand the importance of speaking with someone who has lived experience of the contexts and challenges you may be navigating, and who can offer a space where you do not need to explain or justify parts of who you are.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
