About me

Hello and welcome to my page.

I am a humanistic counsellor and psychotherapist, offering online therapy sessions to adults.

I offer short-term, long-term and open-ended sessions in agreement after our initial discussion and assessment.

In my professional career, I have worked in the emergency services for over thirty-eight years in the police and the NHS for four years within the Macmillan Cancer Charity.

I also worked at a low-cost community counselling service for two years, offering short-term and long-term work to clients from mixed socio-economic backgrounds.

If you would like more background, please go to my website, where I hope any questions you may still have regarding the counselling process and how I work are answered.

Training, qualifications & experience

MSc degree in Humanistic Psychotherapy. Middlesex University.

Clinical Diploma in Humanistic psychotherapeutic counselling. The Metanoia Institute

I trained as a volunteer operational Defuser while working in the emergency services. I supported frontline personnel to process their experience after attendance at traumatic incidents, which included violence and loss of life.

I also trained and volunteered as a police Mentor and Coach, supporting officers and staff in career progression.

I have extensive experience working with people at vulnerable and fragile times in their lives when their usual coping methods are unable to provide them with support and reassurance.
