About me

Hello, my name is Lyndsay, let me tell you a little bit about myself, how I work and the services I offer. I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and work with adults in a variety of settings including community charities, GP surgeries and private practice. Being an Integrative Practitioner simply means I use a blend of techniques, theories and approaches where therapy is tailored to meet your needs. I believe there is not a one size fits all approach to therapy, we are all unique individuals and this is the beauty of Integrative Practice.

I have experience in working with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, grief, relationship issues, addiction, trauma and abuse to name a few.

Fostering the client/counsellor relationship is always at the heart of my approach, you can expect a warm, welcoming, safe and non-judgemental environment where we will journey together at your pace.

Linking events from your past to difficulties you are experiencing in the present can provide the insight you need to begin moving toward positive change. Working together to learn new skills and coping strategies will equip you with the tools you need to begin to improve your overall wellbeing.

Having spent a number of years living abroad has shaped my ability to be accepting and inclusive of all. I consider myself a warm, compassionate and down to earth person and it would be a real privilege for me to support you on your journey.

Please don't hesitate to call or email should you require any further information or to book an appointment.

Client Testimonial:

“ Lyndsay has helped me hugely. Her very gentle and kind approach meant that I gained trust quickly and was able to open up to her much sooner than I expected. I felt as though she genuinely related to my issues and had real empathy. I felt at all times as though I was in the hands of a professional and she provided me with a totally safe space every week. With her guidance I feel as though I have made huge progress with my mental health and have been provided with some really good tools to help me cope in the future”
