About me
As an Integrative Counsellor, I tailor therapy to each client, as well as talking therapy, I draw from a diverse toolbox of techniques, such as CBT, EMDR, and hypnosis. Having completed training specific to trauma and trauma-informed approaches, I am confident in my skills to scaffold clients while they learn ways to overcome obstacles, develop coping skills, and enhance their overall well-being. Through collaboration with my clients, they can explore concerns, build resilience, and cultivate positive lasting change.
I specialise in counselling children and young people, members of the LGBTQIA community, those who have experienced the loss of a baby, pre-birth, whether by choice or spontaneous pregnancy loss, or post-birth. I work with families to navigate and resolve complex dynamics and challenging situations.
As well as 5 years’ experience in private practice, I have worked as a family support worker for 10 years and within the care field generally for over 30 years. I have supported clients through a variety of challenges and life transitions.
