About me
Have you been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or not yourself?
Perhaps you’re stuck in old patterns that no longer serve you? Maybe you’ve noticed that your confidence has dipped, or that the relationship you have with yourself feels more distant, critical, or confusing than it used to?
The relationship we have with ourselves shapes everything else—our choices, our relationships, our boundaries, and how we respond to the world around us. It can slip out of sync without us noticing. I can support you to reconnect to yourself by navigating through whatever life is presenting you with.
I support clients aged 13+ who want to understand themselves more deeply, explore recurring patterns, reconnect to their needs, strengths and sense of self. Whether you're navigating anxiety, rebuilding confidence, or strengthening your self-worth. What you bring to the world is uniquely yours, and I’m here to help you uncover it with curiosity, compassion, and support.
I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel safe, supported, and heard. The foundation of our work is a trusting, collaborative relationship, where I value your experiences and how you see yourself and the world. Together, we'll explore your challenges, uncover inner resources, and develop tools for balance and self-confidence.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Leeds. I am a fully qualified and insured member of the BACP.
I have extensive experience supporting people transform the relationship they have with themselves. Much of my work involves helping clients understand their recurring patterns, develop healthy boundaries, and work through anxiety, low mood and self-doubt. I have seen how powerful it can be when someone begins to relate to themselves with greater clarity, compassion and confidence.
I have previously worked as a counsellor at TalkThru, supporting individuals affected by baby loss and pregnancy-related experiences, and at RASAC, where I worked with clients aged 13+ as a domestic and sexual abuse counsellor. Prior to this, I worked within charities supporting people who were homeless or at risk of homelessness. Together, these roles have given me extensive experience working with a wide range of life experiences, offering both short- and long-term support, and working in a trauma-informed way.
With a background in Fine Art, creativity shapes my therapeutic practice through metaphor, imagery, and creative techniques. Creativity can offer new perspectives and ways of understanding thoughts, feelings and inner experiences.
I work integratively and holistically, drawing from person-centred, psychodynamic, gestalt and creative approaches. This allows me to tailor the work to you, your needs, your pace, and the way you make sense of the world.
I offer free, no-obligation introductory calls - book yours now to ask any questions or get started.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
