About me
I have been working as a qualified clinical psychologist for over a decade. During my career I have supported people who were dealing with a broad range of difficulties including; depression, anxiety and trauma. I work using an integrative approach, drawing on various evidence-based therapeutic models to support my clients in managing their difficulties. I am also an Accredited EMDR Practitioner with EMDR Association UK.
Whilst I work with people who have mental health difficulties, I also know that therapy is not only meant to be for people with a specific mental health condition but can also be a tool for personal growth and self-development. All of us experience difficulties at some point or another, whether it's related to work or relationships or feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns of behaviour. Therapy offers a way to understand your difficulties and to work gently with yourself to bring about positive change.
In addition to individual therapy, I facilitate online therapy groups and online courses. Please see my website for further details of upcoming groups and courses.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
